Leadership can be lonely and wrought with challenges. If you are in a new role, you may feel uncertain and you may experience occasional imposter syndrome. You might worry about delivering value to your company as you stop being an individual contributor and you may have anxiety about keeping your jobs in the future. It is easy to feel invisible as you elevate the work of the people who report to you. As a new leader, you may find yourself working way too many hours or obsessing over how you communicate. You might worry you will lose your job because you won't be seen as valuable. You may struggle to find your leadership style in a world full of male leaders. It is hard work to be a leader and it is difficult to know who to talk to about the uncertainty.
Sometimes people are really great individual contributors and they are really good at what they do, then they get promoted and they are no longer confident as they begint to lead others. It can be hard to figure out where how to add value to the organization, This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and nervousness about the job. It can be hard to find solid ground.
My name is Melanie Parish. I'm a master certified coach and I've been a coach for over 20 years. I have seen the struggles leaders have first hand. I know it is hard. I have a full coaching practice, but I talk to so many women leaders who feel isolated. They are trying to find their own voice and their own leadership style in a world full of male leaders but not as many strong women leaders. I created this Power Circle opportunity because it is what I would want. I want to talk about strategy with my coach and then I need to hold myself accountable. I want to have someone to talk about management challenges who has been there, so I am working to bring an amazing management coach/consultant on board (this was actually a tip from a client, btw). I know I talk with my clients and many of them struggle to find time to exercise so I am bringing weekly Power Workouts so we can do this together. I am bringing on 1-2 other coaches to help round out this offering because every coach has a sweet spot. This coaching program will draw on the collective wisdom of a team of coaches. This is the best offer I can think of for women leaders. The cost of the program is around the price of executive coaching and a gym membership and it offers so much more. I hope you will love this product as much as I do. I am so excited to start this journey of women and power. Let's circle up!
